More people watched Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr presentation this week than the World Cup final, it has been claimed.

The former Manchester United striker was unveiled at Al Nassr's home stadium in front of 30,000 fans.

According to information published by journalist Pedro Sepúlveda, Ronaldo's presentation ceremony reached "3 billion views on 40 channels around the world".

But that's not all, this figure would have exceeded the number of views for the World Cup final in Qatar across those same 40 channels, in which Argentina beat France on penalties after an exciting 3-3 draw.
