Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic admits he wants to be playing more.

Kovacic enoyed a rare start for Real's 1-1 draw with Eibar on the weekend.

"We can always improve and work on yourself. My first year at Real Madrid has been quite difficult, I knew I was not going to play much, but I'm still at the club, I feel good.

"Everyone wants to play.

"But it is ultimately the coach who decides," said the former Inter Milan midfielder.
