Real Madrid legend Hugo Sanchez is proud of Javier Hernandez after his matchwinner this week. The on-loan Manchester United striker struck in victory over Champions League opponents Atletico Madrid.
"He can't fail. It may be the game of his life and he has to deliver on any chance that comes his way - there won't be many chances," Sanchez told Marca.
"It was his game and he knocked it out of the park. I'm really happy for him and obviously for Real, my club in Spain, despite the fact they were up against Atlético. This goal will be very significant in their respective futures, of that I'm sure. I hope Real Madrid go on to the final with this goal.
"Javier took stock of the situation and seized the opportunity that, due to the circumstances, he was given against Atlético. He came out very focused and confident in front of goal. And he put one away."
