Real Madrid chiefs have rejected Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola's claims over Erling Haaland's contract.
This week, Guardiola disputed claims from Madrid that Haaland's contract carries a buyout clause which can be triggered in 2024.
"He doesn't have a release clause for Real Madrid or any other team," said Guardiola. "It's not true. That's all I can say. They're rumours that we cannot control."
However, Real directors have told AS that Guardiola is wrong.
Instead, Real have been assured by third parties that a buyout clause exists and also have been informed of the price: €180m.
