Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic admits he was angry with Michel after his resignation as Castilla coach this week.

Mijatovic declared: "I am surprised by the way he chose to resign.

"It's something that I do not understand and that has no justification. Until two days ago we had a good relationship.

"I understand that at this club there is a lot of pressure and many comments, but he did not have to do such a thing, it has no justification. As sports director I'm very upset. Moreover, the way he left everyone out to dry in the media, doing interviews, doing what he has done ... I, as sports director, can never forgive this."
