RB Leipzig are keen to discuss a new loan arrangement with Manchester City for Angelino.
The fullback has proved an instant hit since his January arrival on a deal to June - with a permanent option of €30m.
Kicker says the option is now out of reach of RBL given the hit football has taken due to the coronavirus and now favour negotiating a new loan for next season.
However, Angelino may refuse such a scenario as he has ambitions of establishing himself as a City first teamer.
The Spaniard, 23, has scored once and produced two assists in eight games for RBL.
