Quique Sanchez Flores is excited taking charge of Sevilla.

Sanchez Flores was named new Sevilla coach on Monday, signing a deal to 2025.

He said, "It's exciting what I feel. I have many ties with Seville, through family, situations, friends. I lived here. I was a participant in the history of this club from the stands and when I came as a coach I felt it strongly.

"I am grateful that the leaders looked at me as an option so that things could be better and we would all be happier.

"We want a team that competes and believes in its possibilities. That the players demonstrate their level, that is not achieved in training. When something is wrong you have to have humility to reverse it and put in the hours necessary to put the club where it is.

"We want to transmit emotion, passion and hope for success. Work with the illusion that what we believe is achieved. It seems to me that it is difficult but where we come from it is a challenge.

"Fear? Of other things, not in football. We would like the scenarios to be ones of joy, sadness is somewhere else, football is to amuse and entertain.

"I haven't seen it well mentally. Boys train to win and if they don't you are sad and down. We want to look for the complete opposite of how they are. There is an extraordinary human quality and those types of questions are asked by coaches. There is the will to do better."
