QPR are chasing Tottenham winger Andros Townsend for the January market.

The London Evening Standard says Townsend has fallen out of favour at White Hart Lane having started just one League game under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp has been told by the club's board that he doesn't have much money to spend on new signings.

He is being encouraged to acquire players on loan and Townsend's pace on the break is seen as an asset that can improve Rangers in attack.
