QPR are delaying signing West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison on-loan.

The London Evening Standard says QPR do not want Morrison's move from West Ham to be completed before Friday so that he will be able to play in a potential Championship play-off final on May 24.

Rules dictate that someone signed under such circumstances is only eligible for 93 days and it says a great deal that manager Harry Redknapp is thinking of Morrison being around for a showdown at Wembley.
