QPR boss Harry Redknapp has ruled out signing Edu Vargas permanently in January.
The striker is on a season-long loan from Napoli.
"Eduardo's very happy with the baby. He has had a little girl, and it's good for him," Redknapp said.
"But we won't be able to do anything in January. It'll be a case of seeing where the club is then.
"You have to make sure you stay in the Premier League first and that's the key.
"Do that and you can look at the end of the season, but it doesn't look like it could be done in Jan."
