QPR boss Harry Redknapp retains confidence of Charlie Austin penning his new deal.
The Mail on Sunday says Redknapp believes striker Austin will sign a new £60,000-a-week contract ahead of the transfer window.
Newcastle United have been considering a move for the in-form striker.
