PSG insiders are insisting Kylian Mbappe is fit and will be in the squad for their Champions League clash with Manchester City.

Ahead of the first-leg of their semifinal, Mbappe copped a heavy blow in victory over Metz on Saturday, having also scored two goals on the day. PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino later admitted some concern about whether Mbappe would recover in time for the City clash.

However, L'Equipe says after scans there's a confidence inside the club that Mbappe has already shaken off the severity of the blow and will be fine for the City game.

The striker had some bruising from his clash with Habib Maiga, but his leg is already recovering.
