Former Newcastle boss Alan Pardew says England must take Anthony Gordon with them to Euro2024.

Pardew feels the Toon winger can make a big impact in Germany.

“On that left-hand side it's all up for grabs, I've actually got Anthony Gordon as a 'must take'," he said. “I think the way he plays, he could be a good option off the bench. If I was Gareth, I'd get him in the group as soon as this result is over.

“You've got Grealish, you've got Sterling who's in great form and you've got Rashford. You've got lots of lovely options there.

“There's just something about Gordon and Newcastle at the moment. There's something exciting about him. I genuinely feel that he could add something to the group."
