Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has revealed he offered Edinson Cavani to Manchester City. Zamparini brought the PSG star to Europe and admits he encouraged former City boss Roberto Mancini to sign him.
"Cavani? I suggested Cavani to Mancini for his Manchester City," recalled Zamparini.
"He chose (Mario) Balotelli.
"I told him I must not understand anything, because I thought Edinson was much, much better."
