Palace boss Hodgson: Rak-Sakyi injury is bad

Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is set for tests to determine the extent of a hamstring problem.

The 21-year-old missed out on their win over Burnley on Saturday after sustaining the issue in training.

Having won the club's October's player of the month award, Rak-Sakyi is a big miss for boss Roy Hodgson.

The veteran stated on Saturday: “It is bad. We don't know 100 percent. We're not talking a week or two — we're probably talking longer than that. It's a real blow.

“Just as you get Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise back almost into the fold, you lose another player who we think is very important for us in our attacking play.

“We regained two and lost one. I would have preferred to have all three."
