Martin O'Neill reckons Aston Villa's pre-season sensation Marc Albrighton is ready, willing and able to become a fully-fledged first team star, reports the Birmingham Mail. O'Neill hopes his contribution during Villa's practice matches will be perfect preparation for more first team involvement next season.
"Is Albrighton good enough for the Premier League?" said O'Neill.
"Of course. There's no reason to suggest anything else other than the fact that he'll be good enough.
"He's having a super pre-season. You come here and play against decent opposition which should give you confidence but everyone knows stepping into the big league is tough going."
