Nuno Espirito Santo has approved Tottenham Hotspur's move Bologna defender Takehiro Tomiyasu.
The Portuguese became the manager of Spurs on Wednesday, signing a two-year contract.
Nuno's first order is business is to fix a leaky defence, and the Evening Standard says Tomiyasu gets the tick of approval from the new manager.
The 22-year-old can play at either centre-back or right-back, two problem positions for Spurs in recent years.
West Ham United, Southampton and Aston Villa have all been linked with the Japan international in the past.
