Rangers legend Nacho Novo is backing Arsenal midfielder Jon Toral over his loan switch to Ibrox.

The midfielder is currently in Spain with top flight strugglers Granada.

But Ibrox legend Nacho Novo says he should cut short that spell to link up with his old side.

He told the Daily Record: "[But] he is not even playing regularly for Granada so it should be a very easy decision for him to make. It could turn out to be the most enjoyable six months of his life.

"Maybe he will want to stay for longer than the end of the season. Or maybe he'll make such an impact that he'll make the next step with Arsenal."
