Nottingham Forest defender McKenna unsure of longer Copenhagen stay

Nottingham Forest defender Scott McKenna is happy with his move to Copenhagen.

McKenna has joined FCK on-loan to June.

He said: "I only heard from FC Copenhagen a few days before that I signed.

"I hadn't played for Nottingham Forest in the last few months, so when I got a call and was told that FCK were interested, I said yes straight away.

"It was really something that I wanted, so in a short time I managed to sign for the rest of the season."

Asked about a longer stay, McKenna told Bold: "I don't quite know that yet. I think we'll just focus on the second half of the season, which hopefully will be successful for both of us.

"Let's take it from there.

"I have never played abroad before, so I think first of all that I have to see if it is something that I and my family like.

"I have to know if I can fit in. There are several factors that come into play, so being able to do it short-term to begin with works well for everyone."
