Newcastle United striker Shola Ameobi is still a chance for Nigeria's World Cup squad.
The Evening Chronicle says Ameobi, who has featured in only a bit-part role for Newcastle United in 2014, is understood to have a "75%" chance of making it into Stephen Keshi's final squad.
The Super Eagles will name a provisional squad in the next few days but Ameobi's experience puts him in with a chance of going to Brazil.
