Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka was proud of his role in their FA Cup shootout win against Blackburn Rovers.
A penalty shootout saw Newcastle win their Fifth Round tie against Blackburn last night after the score had finished 1-1 after extra-time.
Dubravka later said: "It was a very difficult match. A lot of chances on both sides and all of a sudden we had penalties. It is a lottery but I am glad I could help the team."
On the penalty shootout, he said: "I think we were well prepared. We analyse everything and try to bring it on the pitch. I need to mention the goalkeeper coaches who make it much easier for me.
"I hope it will lift our confidence. We needed a lift after the Arsenal game and we created a lot of chances. We have to take the positives and we are in the next round and we are looking forward to it."
