Yoshinori Muto leaves Newcastle United with a stunning pay off.
The Sun says Newcastle have paid £9.5million flop Muto to leave – making it five departures and ZERO arrivals this summer.
The Japanese striker was told by Toon boss Steve Bruce he was surplus to requirements.
And the club have paid a portion of the final year of his contract.
Muto, 29, was signed from Mainz by Rafa Benitez in 2018 but started just 10 games in all competitions, scoring two goals.
He spent last year on loan at Eibar in Spain and is reportedly set for a return home to Japan's Vissel Kobe.
Muto was on £54,000-a-week at the Magpies.
