Newcastle United are chasing Cagliari striker Victor Ibarbo.
The Daily Star says Newcastle have already agreed a £1.5m deal for Tenerife's highly-rated Spanish striker Ayoze Perez.
Toon boss Alan Pardew has also joined the £8.25m battle to sign Cagliari striker Victor Ibarbo.
