Newcastle United's summer market campaign has convinced Tim Krul to stay.

Krul has been impressed by the recruitment drive at Newcastle this summer and is not heading for the exit door at Benton.

A source close to Krul told the Evening Chronicle: "Tim's happy with life here.

"He is pleased with the summer signings and looking forward to the start of the season."
