Newcastle United are still hopeful of securing a deal with Matty Longstaff.
The midfielder is now off contract at Newcastle.
The Daily Mail says Leeds United have opted against a move for Longstaff.
The 20-year-old has also received interest from Serie A side Udinese and Sheffield United also.
However, Toon boss Steve Bruce is still hopeful of convincing Longstaff to sign new terms.
