Newcastle United attacker Miguel Almiron insists he will start scoring goals for the Magpies.

Almiron is still waiting for his first goal with the Toon.

But he told NUFCTV: "I am very happy that I can I provide assists like this one [against Man City] for the team.

"I always try to do my best in every single game and bring what I can to the party so the team can keep doing well.

"I just need to get that first goal but you know what's important - is that the team are playing well.

"Of course I'd love to get on the score sheet and I'm really itching to score but I'm not beating myself up over it either.

"The goals will come along whenever they do and it will be at the right moment.

"I just try to give the best version of myself for the team and I think that is more important."
