Napoli goalscorer Rrahmani: Tactics didn't work at Barcelona

Napoli goalscorer Amir Rrahmani felt their tactics didn't work in their Champions League defeat at Barcelona.

Rrahmani struck, but Napoli lost 3-1 on the night and 4-2 on aggregate in the round of 16.

“We leave with heads held high, because we played in a direct and attacking fashion, even if we could've done better on their goals and also got an equaliser," Rrahmani told Sport Mediaset.

“Unfortunately, if you don't take your chances against strong opponents, you will be made to pay for it.

“We tried to use a high press, but it didn't really work, instead it allowed Barcelona to have several counter-attacks. We didn't press effectively."
