Napoli coach Rino Gattuso was angry with his players after their 2-0 defeat to Atalanta.
The result leaves Napoli's Champions League qualifying hopes in tatters.
“Atalanta didn't start all that brilliantly, it was us who made the mistakes for their goals," Gattuso told DAZN.
“We talked too much, I'm furious. We had the game in our hands and we scored the first goal for them.
“There was too much talk from us, we should've done things better. In the first half we did well, but we still made mistakes in the final third.
“Given the players we have, we should be doing much better. You can make mistakes, but it's after our mistakes that we started to lose energy with the referee or linesman.
“We mustn't give up, I don't want us to suffer any drops. Today, the team
thought about complaining and not playing. I didn't like their attitude."
