Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti has been hit with a one-match ban for his dismissal against Atalanta.

Ancelotti was sent off as Napoli protested for not being awarded a penalty in the 2-2 draw.

Although he defended his actions, the FIGC's Giudice Sportivo argued he “entered the pitch, disputing a refereeing decision."

Team manager Giovanni Paolo De Matteis is similarly suspended for the Partenopei's next game on Saturday against Roma.
