Danny Murphy's future at Fulham is clouded following the appointment of new manager Martin Jol.
The London Evening Standard says Jol's arrival at Fulham could cast a shadow over the future there of veteran club captain Murphy.
Jol brought the former England midfielder to Spurs from Charlton for £2m in January 2006 but the move never really worked out and Murphy was sold to Fulham 19 months later.
The midfielder has thrived at the Cottage under previous managers Roy Hodgson and Mark Hughes.
