Morgan Schneiderlin ponders Southampton STRIKE option

Morgan Schneiderlin is weighing up his next move as he seeks to quit Southampton.

The Mirror says Schneiderlin may have to go on strike to secure his dream move from Southampton to Tottenham.

French midfielder Schneiderlin turned up for training at Saints' New Forest base on Wednesday, and was told to his face that the St Mary's club will not let him leave.

Furious Schneiderlin opted not to hand in a formal transfer request although he made it clear to new manager Ronald Koeman and the club's hierarchy that he wants to be allowed to go to White Hart Lane as part of Southampton's huge summer sales.

The Londoners' chairman Daniel Levy is keen to land the midfielder for new manager Mauricio Pochettino and is ready to make an official bid, well below Southampton's prospective £27million valuation.
