Brighton fullback Martin Montoya admits skipper Bruno convinced him about a move to the south coast.

Montoya arrived in the summer from Valencia.

He told The Sun: I'm a pretty happy soul with clear thoughts in my mind, so it's not just happened now. I've always been happy.

“From the first day I arrived at Brighton, I've been very comfortable with everybody here.

“When I spoke to Bruno, he told me the six years he has been here have been great. Had Bruno known how great it would be, he would have come a long time before!

“It feels very much like a family."
