When asked about the players he believed enhanced their reputations with England, Paul Merson named three standouts.
Merson was impressed with how England started off in the tournament. But he felt the team was "found out" in their last two games against Croatia and Belgium.
"Kieran Trippier has done his reputation a whole lot of good. He was one of the players of the tournament for me," he said to the Daily Star.
"Harry Maguire grew into the tournament as well and has made a name for himself now. But he looked tired at the end.
"And Jordan Pickford has done well. People were asking questions about him before the tournament but he's answered every one. I think he's only going to get better and should be the No.1 for years to come."
