Fulham striker Brian McBride has backed Lawrie Sanchez in leading the club to a successful 2007/2008 campaign.
McBride said: "We are looking for a big improvement next season. We have a lot of work to do in pre-season and we will be aiming to get some wins early on in the season to get some momentum.
"Lawrie has done a good job. He explained what he wanted when he came in and I'm looking forward to pre-season."
The American international voiced his determination to eradicate the previous season's frailties.
McBride added: "We need to make sure we are fully focused for 90 minutes in every game next season, we had too many games last season where we let it drop in parts.
"When Lawrie came in he emphasised that we need to stop giving away possession in our own half and work together as a team."
