Maupay enjoys winding up Arsenal players (again) in Everton victory

Everton striker Neal Maupay sparked a brawl during victory over Arsenal on Saturday.

With the Toffees leading, Maupay stood his ground as fullback Oleksandr Zinchenko moved up the pitch, resulting in a collision.

The Frenchman immediately fell to the turf clutching his face, but his Ukrainian rival was far from impressed with his theatrics and immediately stood over the attacker to complain about his behaviour.

What followed was a mass flare up between players from both sides and referee David Coote was forced to calm proceedings on Merseyside.

Both players received yellow cards and the game got back under way, with Everton holding on for a massive victory to lift the club from the relegation places.

At Brighton, Maupay also incurred Arsenal wrath in 2020 when clashing with Bernd Leno and Matteo Guendouzi in an infamous win for the Seagulls.
