Olympique Marseille coach Igor Tudor was left frustrated by their Champions League defeat to Tottenham.
The 2-1 defeat saw OM bounced out of Europe for the season.
Tudor admits such was the noise at the Velodrome that the players couldn't hear his instructions from the touchline.
"The players couldn't hear my order because there was so much noise. There was a lot of confusion at the end of the game and unfortunately it ended up costing us dearly," said Tudor.
"We didn't talk about the (qualifying) scenarios before the match because we wanted the players to focus only on the match."
