Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare is the subject of negotiations with Manchester United and Tottenham.

Both clubs are keen on strengthening their ranks in the middle of the pitch in the winter window and the highly-regarded Soumare is a target.

La Voix du Nord says both Spurs and United are currently in discussions with Lille to sign him in January.

It is claimed six to eight clubs from across Europe are in discussions with Lille over Soumare.

Lille are said to be holding out for €50million (£42m) to €60m (£50m) for one of their prized assets.
