Man Utd in talks with Edwards and departing Liverpool director of research Graham

Manchester United are moving for departing Liverpool director of research Ian Graham.

Football Insider says Graham could be set to leave his role at Anfield and join United.

They claim that he could be set to team up with former sporting director Michael Edwards at Old Trafford, with the pair being brought in to overhaul the club's current recruitment set-up.

It is thought that any potential move has no relation to United's sale, as the Glazers announced they were finally selling the club after 17 years of ownership.

Graham has previously worked under Edwards at Liverpool, as the pair focused on growing the club's data department, concentrating on both recruitment and player analysis.
