Manchester City are ready to upgrade Erling Haaland's contract.
The Norway striker's current deal runs to 2027 and City wish to extend it by 12 months and up his salary.
Talks have commenced with agent Rafaela Pimenta about a new deal, says The Sun.
City are prepared to up his weekly basic to £550,000 for the next five years. And with bonuses, the new arrangement would smash through the £600,000-a-week barrier.
The news comes as Haaland hit his seventh City hat-trick on Saturday in victory over Fulham.
