Manchester City midfielder Oscar Bobb says working with manager Pep Guardiola is accelerating his development.

Bobb has been promoted to the senior squad this season.

“He's a perfectionist so we can always do better," he told City's website. "You see a new way to play the game and everything seems so simple.

“It's very good motivation. It's the place where you want to be.

"It definitely motivates me."

Bobb also said, "Every year the competition gets tougher and the teams get better.

"At our best, we can dominate anyone but there are very good teams and we have to be prepared for it.

"After last year's success, you have to keep on improving every year because you're the team to beat."
