Manchester City striker Erling Haaland can find positives from local media pressure.
Haaland says headlines which spark when he doesn't score can be a positive.
He explained to the Telegraph: "It's a positive thing that people are more shocked when I don't score than when I score. When I don't score, the Norwegian media headlines: 'No goals!' It's something good.
"I'm not complaining at all, because I also signed for Manchester City to score goals. So it was also something expected – maybe not so many! – but I'm still the one who is going to put the ball in the back of the net."
On reaching Alan Shearer's goalscoring record, Haaland also said: "How long is my contract? Three years and 10 months? There's still time to do it, right? It's something you can't think about.
"You have to think about the next game, about the season, and then these things come after a while. But if I'm still going to spend 15 more years in England, why not? We'll see."
