Manchester City are determined to win the Champions League this season - for departing star Sergio Aguero.

The Argentine has been on the periphery of the starting line up this season, due to injury, illness and recently the form of his teammates.

But everyone recognises the incredible contribution of the centre-forward to the City cause over the past decade, even if his powers are waning.

"Kun is a legend," said right back Kyle Walker.

"There's no other way to describe the man, for what he has done for this club and the Premier League. Not many people come into his bracket.

"Hopefully, we can send him off with a Champions League medal around his neck, something I am sure he has dreamt about his whole life."

"This club needed the final, the players needed the final. The amount of talent we've got, for us not to be in the Champions League final is a disappointment each and every year.

"To finally get there is fantastic and hopefully we can do everyone involved with Manchester City proud.

"Someone needs to go and become a hero and score in the Champions League and hopefully it's us walking up the steps to collect that prestigious trophy."
