Manchester City intend to sign two players from their sister clubs.
The Manchester Evening News says City are part of a wide and varied global project which includes a number of teams such as Melbourne City and New York City FC.
City believe both sides have players capable of cutting it at the Etihad and are in talks to sign two.
Melbourne midfielder Daniel Arzani and Yangel Herrera of New York could both be heading to Manchester before the transfer window closes.
