Manchester City are ready to open contract talks with Erling Haaland in the coming months.
The Premier League giants, who won the treble last season, do not want to lose the Norway striker.
Haaland will have a release clause in his contract that is active at the end of this season, although its value will likely put off most suitors.
Per The Mail, if Haaland does renew his deal this season, he will get a bump in his £400,000-a-week wages plus bonuses.
The striker appears well worth that investment, given he scored 52 goals in all competitions last season.
Haaland is also impressive for City from a marketing perspective, given his worldwide appeal.
