Manchester City are preparing an approach for Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
Phillips is currently on international duty but limped off injured during last night's 1-1 Nations League draw in Germany.
The Sun says City will formally approach Leeds about a price once Phillips has finished his England duty later this month.
City boss Pep Guardiola is seeking a replacement for veteran Fernandinho following the Brazilian's departure after nine years at the Etihad.
City know they face stiff competition for the England international, with West Ham failing with a £50m offer in January.
