Manchester City are keeping tabs on Troyes striker Thomas Izerghouf.

City boss Roberto Mancini is keen on the teenager, who he sees as a younger version of Fiorentina star Alberto Gilardino.

Along with City, Newcastle United are also interested in Izerghouf. Toon boss Chris Hughton has been active in the French transfer market since the end of last season.
