Manchester City have made a strong statement with their start to the league this season and skipper Vincent Kompany believes it's due to increased focus among the squad.

City have won four out of four games and currently top the Premier League table with a tally of 12 points and a goal difference of plus 12 having yet to concede..

"The main thing I have seen this season is an extreme amount of focus around the dressing room," Kompany said.

"There is no satisfaction whatsoever out of the first four wins. It is nice for the defenders, the strikers, for the club and the fans - but nothing more than that."
