Joe Hart says he and his Manchester City teammates have been treated warmly since arriving in Australia.

City have been on the Gold Coast where they took in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Adelaide United before meeting sister club Melbourne City on Saturday night, winning 1-0.

On Sunday the squad flew to Melbourne for their 2015 International Champions Cup fixtures against AS Roma and Real Madrid and goalkeeper Hart insists he has felt very at home thanks to the Australian hospitality.

"Its been cool. Very welcoming. We were on the Gold Coast last week so we had a little bit of warmer weather to train in," he told reporters in Melbourne.

"I came a little bit later than everybody else. I got a little bit of extra time from the internationals in the summer.

"The facilities have been fantastic, the people have been very welcoming and we are looking forward to the games coming up in the next couple of days."
