Man City continue with EA Sports

Manchester City have announced a multi-year extension with video games publisher EA Sports, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The two parties began working together five years ago, and EA Sports will continue to receive branding across all of Manchester City's digital channels. The new agreement will see the company become the official supporter of the team's Snapchat channel, and it will begin sponsoring the club's man of the match award.

As part of the deal, Manchester City players and staff received a copy of EA Sports' flagship soccer title, Fifa 17, before the 29th September official release date, while they will also work alongside EA Sports to promote future editions of the game.

"At Manchester City, we're incredibly proud of the partnership we have built with EA Sports over the last five years," said City Football Group senior vice president of partnerships Damian Willoughby.

"We both seek to challenge ourselves year in and year out to ensure our fans have more opportunities to engage with the club and the game they love.

"Extending our partnership means we can work together to provide supporters with unforgettable memories and can't miss experiences that combine the best of football on and off the pitch."
