Dominic Torrent has left Manchester City to take charge of New York City FC.
NYFC have appointed Torrent as their new head coach.
Torrent was Pep Guardiola's assistant since 2007 with Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City.
Torrent replaces Patrick Vieira in charge of the MLS club.
He had also interviewed for the Girona job before Eusebio Sacristan's appointment.
